Creation-Distinct & Diverse (Gen.1:20-2::3)

January 14, 2006

Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. (Gen.2:1)

God created everything, animate and inanimate, as they are today. There was no need for an evolution.

Distinctiveness

Every creature was after its own kind or species. There was no question of any ‘missing links’.

And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. (Gen.1:20-21)

Diversity

There was innumerable variety. Man was made as the crown of God’s creation with the ability to know Him and fellowship with Him.

The Starting Point (Gen.1:1-19)

January 13, 2006
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Gen.1:1)

God set everything into motion. He is the source of everything, beyond human comprehension.

God brought everything into being from nothingness

He called everything into being by His power. He created the matter, the atom, with its minutest detail.

God brought everything into being in its fullness

Everything started functioning in its fullness from day one. Nothing ever evolved to a greater level of efficiency or perfection.
